Based in South West England, the Neroche Scheme aims to protect and celebrate the heritage of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Led by the Forestry Commission, the Neroche team made the most of our knowledge of mobile digital technology to create the 'Digital Trail Guide'.
Using GPS, the Digital Trail Guide provides location specific content on walking trails, wildlife and historical sites in the area. It's an amazing experience that doesn't have an adverse impact on the Somerset landscape.
