Our engineers are backed by a 140+ strong research group at the Telecommunication Software and Systems Group (TSSG) at the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), an internationally recognised centre of excellence for ICT research and innovation. Their core expertise focuses on telecoms networks, security and mobile services.
Our {ZED1 Cloud Platform} is more than software, it’s a scientific methodology developed from years of mobile and pervasive technological research. Our proprietary Accu-Loc IO Technology makes us leaders in GPS and wireless location implementation.
The TSSG research teams comprise some of Europe's leading telecommunications and software engineering experts; this knowledge and expertise has enabled them to work with academic and industry leaders from around the globe. Partners include Nokia, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks and Alcatel-Lucent – as well as Tier 1 operators including Telefónica/O2, T-Mobile, T-Systems (a division of Deutsche Telekom), Telecom Italia, Vodafone, Telenor Group and Portugal Telecom and many more.
