Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 4:23PM ZolkC have been asked by Waterford City Council to create an all-in-one handheld guide solution for the city's three brand new museums and historic walking tour.
To be released in Summer 2012, the 'Reggie' vGuide will be available to visitors to the city's Viking Triangle, and will deliver engaging stories for all three museums - The Medieval Museum, The Bishop's Palace & Reginald's Tower - on the one device. Using our powerful AccuLoc IO software to automatically trigger stories as visitor's explore inside a museum, as well as outside in the city's historic quarter, 'Reggie' is our, and possibly the world's, first 'indoor/outdoor' solution of its kind.
We're very excited about this project, not just because it's based in our home city, but because it allows us to show the world the power of our vGuide solution to almost it's full extent. We'll keep you up to date with its progress.
